NUCLEOSHELL® PFP based on core-shell particle technology for fast and efficient HPLC.
- Efficient core-shell silica gel
- Pentafluorophenyl propyl (PFP) modification
- Hydrophobic phase with alternative selectivity in comparison to classical C18 modifications
The separation principle based on four retention mechanisms such as polar interactions, dipole-dipole interactions, π-π interactions, hydrophobic interactions.
Suitable for the separation of polar compounds like pharmaceuticals such as antibiotics, aromatic and unsaturated compounds, phenols, halogenated hydrocarbons and isomers. It shows a high retention of basic compounds.
EC guard columns are used for analytical EC columns with the column protection system guard column holder (554-5851).
