The cell scraper features a pivoting head, which allows changes in blade angle while directly over the culture surface, giving accessibility to adherent cells even in difficult to reach flask corners. The cell lifter has a specially formed blade with sharp edges. It is mainly used with tissue culture flasks with reclosable lid or peel-off foil, or with large tissue culture dishes.

The Triple Bagged (3-B) packaging system meets strict cleanroom standards designed to prevent contamination entering highly sensitive areas of production. The innermost bag 1 is labeled with the product details, that is product number, product description, lot number. Each product is packaged individually in a tear-open bag. Each bag is labeled with a security number: 3 = external, 2 = moderate, 1 = innermost bag. The safety-style peel-open bags are increasingly sized, so that during handling of one bag the next inner bag is not accidentally contaminated.

With the standard packaging, contamination adhering to the outside of the bag could be unintentionally carried into clean room areas. The 3-B packaging system prevents contamination from reaching highly sensitive production areas, thus significantly increasing safety for handling substances in a sterile environment.
