THPS Test Kit

THPS stands for Tetra Hydroxymethyl Phosphonium Sulphate. It is commonly regarded as an environmentally friendly biocide that is readily degradable and has low volatility. As a broad-spectrum biocide, it is effective against the most common types of bacteria that cause problems in cooling water, especially Sulphate Reducing Bacteria (SRB). THPS is also used for the control of Legionella. It inhibits the growth of algae, bacteria, yeasts and fungi in a wide range of industrial applications.
