StrataPrep Plasmid Purification kits

The StrataPrep plasmid preparation kits provide a rapid method for purifying plasmid DNA from bacterial cultures.

• High yields of plasmid DNA: up to 20 µg from 1,5 to 3,0 ml of culture
• Accommodates all sizes of DNA from standard 2,9 kb plasmids to 45 kb cosmids
• Transforms as efficiently as cesium chloride-purified DNA

The kit utilises a special silica-based fibre matrix technology in a microspin-column format to capture DNA in the presence of a chaotropic salt, allowing the recovery of exceptionally clean DNA.

Contains: Solution 1, 2, 3, Wash buffer, Nuclease-removal buffer, uspin cups and receptacle tubes.
