Test strips, Calcium, QUANTOFIX®

QUANTOFIX® test strips meet all requirements of a modern rapid test. The colour of the reactive pad changes depending on the concentration of an analyte in the sample. The evaluation is usually carried out visually by comparison of the reaction colour with a multi-stage colour scale. The test strips are intended for single use, maintenance or calibration are not required.

The test strips allow the quick and easy determination of calcium in solutions. They come with all necessary reagents so that the measurement can immediately be started. Within one minute reliable results are obtained. Calcium is an important element in nutrition and is therefore tested in foodstuff. It is essential for the building of human bones. Lack of calcium in the daily diet can lead to osteoporosis. The recommended consumption is about 1000 mg/day. In combination with magnesium, calcium is responsible for water hardness.
