Native urease from Canavalia ensiformis. Catalyzes hydrolysis of urea to carbon dioxide and ammonia. Useful in the determination of urea in body fluids.

  • One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme that will release 1 µmol of ammonia from urea per min at 25 °C.
