The package is designed to measure the COD in small scale sealed tubes (ST-COD) using the dichromate method. After heating the sealed tubes in a the thermoreactor, photometric absorbance is measured by the MD 200 COD VARIO and converted into concentration mg/litre of oxygen.

Ordering information: The Lovibond® COD VARIO tube tests are available for the measuring ranges 0 to 150 mg/L O₂, 0 to 1500 mg/L O₂ and 0 to 15000 mg/L O₂. Their chemical properties and a 16 mm tube
diameter make them compatible to Hach® devices.*
