PD MiniTrap G-25 columns are prepacked, single-use gravity columns for desalting, buffer exchange, and sample cleanup.

PD MiniTrap G-25 is designed for convenient desalting of biological samples. For increased flexibility, the protein desalting column can be used with either gravity or centrifugation. When using the gravity protocol, clean-up of the sample is simple. One or several columns can be connected in parallel, and a purification system is not needed. With the centrifugation protocol, the samples are run in parallel in a standard centrifuge.The eluted sample will have minimal dilution.

The exclusion limit is approximately Mr 5000. This ensures group separation of proteins/peptides larger than Mr 5000 from smaller molecules.

For larger scale please use PD MidiTrap G-25 column (1,0 ml) and PD-10 Desalting column (2,5 ml) and for smaller scale PD SpinTrap G-25 (130 µl) and PD MultiTrap G-25 (130 µl in parallel).
