I rifrattometri consentono all’utente di determinare rapidamente e con precisione una serie di parametri, inclusi indice di rifrazione, valore Brix, HFCS o concentrazioni di liquidi definite dall’utente. Alcuni modelli consentono di misurare campioni sotto forma di solidi o paste con la stessa facilità dei liquidi. I modelli digitali includono display LCD con controlli intuitivi e letture facilmente interpretabili.
