Il Mini Vertical PAGE shiroGEL è un sistema modulare per applicazioni PAGE ed elettroblotting nella stessa vasca, cambiando semplicemente gli inserti. Il sistema è caratterizzato dalla presenza di inserti specifici per ogni applicazione e da una vasca tampone comune per l'esecuzione. Ciascun inserto ha il suo elettrodo collegato al coperchio della vasca tampone. Per sicurezza, i cavi di alimentazione sono collegati direttamente al coperchio. Rimuovendo il coperchio l'alimentazione al sistema viene interrotta. Gli inserti hanno inoltre una piccola imbottitura che si inserisce nel coperchio, garantendo sempre un corretto posizionamento del coperchio e agevolandone la rimozione. The simple, modular design of miniVE vertical electrophoresis system consolidates all the small parts for electrophoresis and blotting into one convenient unit.
