I sistemi di distillazione purificano manualmente o automaticamente i liquidi attraverso il riscaldamento per evaporare i componenti volatili. Progettati per associare la separazione fisica a un ciclo di raffreddamento, i materiali vengono estratti in modo efficiente, lasciando una sostanza condensata di maggiore purezza. Fornendo maggiore controllo nella preparazione dei campioni, gli alambicchi facilitano risultati di prova più coerenti ed eliminano i rischi comuni nei metodi preparativi tradizionali.
