I tubi per cromatografia liquida ad alte prestazioni (HPLC) offrono prestazioni efficienti ad alte pressioni operative in ambienti impegnativi. La loro capacità di resistere a pressioni elevate li rende ideali per HPLC capillare e LC/MS. I tubi presentano una superficie interna molto liscia per eccellenti caratteristiche di flusso e un basso coefficiente di attrito, il che porta a una migliore riproducibilità, risoluzione ed efficienza. I tubi HPLC possono essere in acciaio inossidabile o in plastica PEEK rivestita di silice; la variante in acciaio inossidabile è necessaria per applicazioni a pressione ultra elevata in cui la plastica non è adatta.
