Mortai
I mortai sono preziosi recipienti di macinazione utilizzati fin dall'antichità per preparare campioni frantumati e macinati a fini sperimentali. Possono essere utilizzati manualmente, in combinazione con una macchina, oppure dopo congelamento con azoto liquido per lavorare con tessuti congelati. I mortai, e in particolare i macinatori a mortaio, sono ideali per macinare campioni secchi, materiali solidi in sospensione e per la produzione e omogeneizzazione di paste e creme secondo gli standard di laboratorio.
