Mouse native NGF (from submaxillary glands)
Supplier: Biosensis
Mouse NGF (2.5S) was isolated from mouse submaxillary glands by method of Mobley et al (1976) and is a form of beta-NGF that has identical biological properties. NGF is known to regulate the survival and development of certain sympathetic and sensory neurons. It is a dimer with 2 identical polypeptide chains and dimeric molecular weight of approximately 26,500 Da. Isolation and purification of NGF from mouse submaxillary glands yields preparations of NGF (2.5S) with identical biological activity but with cleavages at the amino terminus (with the loss of 8 amino acids) and/or at the carboxy-terminus (with the loss of arginine). These preparations are named 2.5 NGF.

Human Recombinant Ikaros (IKZF1) (NM_006060)
Supplier: OriGene
This gene encodes a transcription factor that belongs to the family of zinc-finger DNA-binding proteins associated with chromatin remodeling. The expression of this protein is restricted to the fetal and adult hemo-lymphopoietic system, and it functions as a regulator of lymphocyte differentiation.

Human Recombinant Glycoprotein 2 (from HEK293T)
Supplier: OriGene
This gene encodes an integral membrane protein that is secreted from intracellular zymogen granules and associates with the plasma membrane via glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI) linkage. The encoded protein binds pathogens such as enterobacteria, thereby playing an important role in the innate immune response. The C-terminus of this protein is related to the C-terminus of the protein encoded by the neighboring gene, uromodulin (UMOD). Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

Human Recombinant NGAL (from E. coli)
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
Neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin(LCN2) is a secreted protein and belongs to the calycin superfamily. This protein is released from injured tubular cells after various damaging stimuli, is already known by nephrologists as one of the most promising biomarkers of incoming Acute Kidney Injury (AKI). Recent evidence also suggests its role as a biomarker in a variety of other renal and non-renal conditions. Moreover, recent studies seem to suggest a potential involvement of this factor also in the genesis and progression of chronic kidney diseases. NGAL is the first known mammalian protein which specifically binds organic molecules called siderophores, which are high-affinity iron chelators. NGAL, first known as an antibacterial factor of natural immunity, and an acute phase protein, is currently one of the most interesting and enigmatic proteins involved in the process of tumor development. acting as an intracellular iron carrier and protecting MMP9 from proteolytic degradation, NGAL has a clear pro-tumoral effect, as has already been observed in different tumors (e.g. breast, stomach, oesophagus, brain) in humans. In thyroid carcinomas, NGAL is strongly induced by NF-kB, an important factor involved both in tumor growth and in the link between chronic inflammation and neoplastic development. Thus, Lipocalin-2 (LCN2/NGAL) has been implicated in a variety of processes including cell differentiation, proliferation, survival and morphogenesis.

Recombinant Protein G (from E. coli)
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
Protein G is an immunoglobulin-binding protein expressed in group C and G Streptococcal bacteria much like Protein A but with differing specificities. It is a 65-kDa (G148 protein G) and a 58 kDa (C40 protein G) cell surface protein that has found application in purifying antibodies through its binding to the Fc region. The native molecule also binds albumin, however, because serum albumin is a major contaminant of antibody sources, the albumin binding site has been removed from this recombinant form of Protein G.

Human Recombinant Bc1-w (from E. coli)
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
Bcl-2-like protein 2 (BCL2L2) belongs to the Bcl-2 family. BCL2L2 is highly expressed in thebrain, spinal cord, testis, pancreas, heart, spleen, and mammary glands. BCL2L2 is a peripheral membrane protein containing three motifs, BH1, BH2 and BH4. The BH4 motif appears to be involved in the anti-apoptotic function. The BH1 and BH2 motifs form a hydrophobic groove which acts as a docking site for the BH3 domain of some pro-apoptotic proteins. BCL2L2 promotes cell survival and blocks dexamethasone-induced apoptosis. Furthermore, BCL2L2 mediates survival of postmitotic Sertoli cells by suppressing death-promoting activity of BAX.

Human Recombinant ADAM-like decysin-1 (from Cells)
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
ADAM DEC1 protein is expressed highly in the small intestine and appendix, moderately in lymph node, mucosal lining of the colon, thymus, spleen and very weakly in the bone marrow. ADAM DEC1 is induced during DC maturation and up-regulated in response to T-cell signals. It may play an important role in the control of the immune response and during pregnancy.

Mouse T Regulatory Cell Polarizing Recombinant Protein Bundle (rm IL-2, rh TGF-β 1) (from E. coli)
Supplier: Shenandoah Biotechnology
Cytokines for polarizing T cells into T regulatory cells. T regulatory cells (Tregs) are a subset of T cells that suppress immune function. They are characterized by the expression of CD4, CD25 and Foxp3 and are known to produce immunosuppressive cytokines TGF-β 1 and IL-10. Tregs can be cultured from naive CD4+ T cells by culturing them in the presence of IL-2 and TGF-β 1 with CD3 and CD28 stimulation. In some cases cells are also cultured with neutralizing antibodies to IL-4, IFNγ and IL-12 and/or retinoic acid.

Human Recombinant Human Hsc Expansion PB (from E. coli)
Supplier: Shenandoah Biotechnology
Cytokines for expansion and cell culture of human hematopoietic stem cells. Hematopoietic stem cells are self renewing pluripotent cells often characterised by the expression of CD34. Studies have shown that decreased expression of CD34 tends to correlate with decreased self renewal properties and pluripotent potential. Culturing CD34+ cells in a cytokine mixture of TPO, SCF, and FLT-3 Ligand for short time periods allows CD34+ cells to proliferate without decreasing CD34 expression, thus retaining their stem cell properties. The combination of these cytokines allows for the ex vivo expansion of the most immature hematopoietic stem cells in cord blood or bone marrow preparations, but can be supplemented with other cytokines to promote specific lineages. For example, GM-CSF and/or G-CSF can be added to promote monocytes and granulocytes while EPO can be added to promote erthroid cells.

Neutrophil activating peptide 2 (NAP-2), also known as CXCL7, is a member of the CXC family of chemokines. NAP-2 is a carboxyl-terminal fragment produced by proteolytic cleavage of the platelet basic protein (PBP). NAP-2 is released from platelets and binds to the receptors CXCR1 and CXCR2 to chemoattract and activate neutrophils during inflammatory events.
