Molti atomizzatori per reagenti sono dotati di un giunto filettato per collegare la testa dell'atomizzatore al pallone, e gli atomizzatori possono funzionare con una pressione dell'aria molto bassa, rendendoli adatti a una vasta gamma di condizioni ambientali.
