I sorbenti TLC sono utilizzati come fasi stazionarie nelle procedure cromatografiche che coinvolgono piastre per cromatografia su strato sottile. Queste sostanze standardizzate assorbono liquidi o gas per separazioni affidabili di microanalisi biologiche.
