The Petri dish filling system, PetriSwiss PS900, is designed for high throughput. All entries are made directly via the screen. No manual is needed. Operator prompting in German or English (other languages can be selected). Automatic device self-diagnosis ensures that the system is ready for operation even before the filling process. The stack height can be freely selected (1 to 20 dishes/stack) and can thus be adapted to ongoing further processing. No need for reloading or counting. The 10-roller pump head ensures uniform and non-pulsatory pumping rates up to 60 ml/min. The AntiDrop function suppresses dripping. These parameters can be defined: Dosing quantity per dish rate; Pause times; AntiDrop function; Media smoothing (Vibramix). The feed unit allows 400 Petri dishes to be loaded. These are filled autonomously and ejected with the preselected stack height on the work bench. Automatic, consecutive alphanumeric dish labelling or barcode application. The printer provides a perfect printed image on a white label. Using thermal transfer printing dispenses with problems relating to dried-on ink and also dispenses with the need for an additional compressor module. Application of the label means that the dish remains unobstructed for colony diagnosis. The incorporated “servicing drawer” greatly facilitates cleaning and maintenance effort. Calculate the dosing quantity of the medium per Petri dish; overall dosing quantity (eg.8,5 L) over the number of dishes (eg. 850 dishes). Vibramix allows you to optimise the filling temperature since it even permits media with high viscosity to be distributed optimally in the dish.

PetriSwiss PS 20 fills 20 dishes directly in the PetriRack. There is no need for manual stacking or any other manual operations. It is ideal for production of small, special-purpose agar batches. The dishes are safely stacked in the PetriRack and can even be transported, chilled or incubated in the rack. The rack can also be fully autoclaved. The dishes can be taken continuously from the rack. All program data, parameters and operating states are displayed clearly and understandably on a graphic display. The unit is very operator-friendly and is operated using a state-of-the-art touch screen.

PetriSwiss PS 200 and 400 automatically fill and stack Petri dishes in removable safety racks. The unit takes the lowest dish from the stack and places the dish, separated from its lid, into the UV-protected filling chamber. While filling the dish, the unit simultaneously stacks the previously filled dish and prepares the next dish to be filled. As soon as one PetriRack is processed completely, the unit moves the whole carousel by one position and restarts the process until all columns are processed. The unit stops after one full round to allow replacement of all dishes manually or with prefilled racks. This unique removable rack principle means that racks can be prefilled and loaded onto the rack carousel at any time. The dishes can remain stored in the rack, in a safe and stable stand. The unit downtime for refill is minimal. The PS 400 is supplied complete with 400 dish capacity carousel.
