Les machines à glaçons autonomes de la série ACM sont refroidies par air, contrôlées électroniquement et fabriquées en acier inoxydable 304. Ils produisent des super cubes standard en forme de dé à coudre moyen qui sont très durs et limpides. Les cubes en forme de dé à coudre ont une grande surface de sorte qu'ils fondent plus lentement qu'un cube standard et les rendent meilleurs pour le refroidissement. Cela signifie également qu'ils sont moins susceptibles de rester collés dans le bac de stockage intégré ou dans un seau à glace. Les glaçons nécessitent une alimentation en eau courante de type "machine à laver" de 19 mm (0,75"), une alimentation électrique correctement dimensionnée et une évacuation ventilée de 38 mm (1,5") (idéalement pas plus haute que la base de la machine ) à moins d'un mètre de la position prévue des machines avant la livraison.

Ideal for medical and laboratory use. The AFC self contained cubelet ice makers are air-cooled. Models are automatic and produce 'cubelet' ice (compressed ice flakes*) with an even melting rate. The AFC134 requires a 15 mm 'washing machine' type tapped mains water supply, a correctly rated power supply and a 38 mm vented drain fitted with a suitable 'backflow' prevention device to incorporate a Type AA or AD airgap (for the AFC unit, no higher than the base of the machine) within one metre of the machine's intended position.

The ACM25, Easy Ice, self contained ice cube maker is a manual water fill, air cooled unit that is manufactured from injection moulded plastic. It produces standard medium thimble shaped super cubes that are very hard and crystal clear. Thimble shaped cubes have a large surface area so that they melt slower than a standard cube and makes them better for chilling. It also means that they are less likely to stick together in the integral storage bin or in an ice bucket. All that is required to install the cuber is a 13-amp socket as no plumbing is required.
