Anti-2,4-D Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Cy7®)

Supplier: Bioss

2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D) is a common systemic herbicide used in the control of broadleaf weeds. It is the most widely used herbicide in the world, and the third most commonly used in North America. [1] 2,4-D is also an important synthetic auxin, often used in laboratories for plant research and as a supplement in plant cell culture media such as MS medium. 2,4-D is a synthetic auxin, which is a class of plant growth regulators. It is absorbed through the leaves and is translocated to the meristems of the plant. Uncontrolled, unsustainable growth ensues causing stem curl-over, leaf withering, and eventual plant death. 2,4-D is typically applied as an amine salt, but more potent ester versions exist as well.

Anti-MUSK Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor® 647)

Supplier: Bioss

Receptor tyrosine kinase which plays a central role in the formation and the maintenance of the neuromuscular junction (NMJ), the synapse between the motor neuron and the skeletal muscle (PubMed:25537362). Recruitment of AGRIN by LRP4 to the MUSK signaling complex induces phosphorylation and activation of MUSK, the kinase of the complex. The activation of MUSK in myotubes regulates the formation of NMJs through the regulation of different processes including the specific expression of genes in subsynaptic nuclei, the reorganization of the actin cytoskeleton and the clustering of the acetylcholine receptors (AChR) in the postsynaptic membrane. May regulate AChR phosphorylation and clustering through activation of ABL1 and Src family kinases which in turn regulate MUSK. DVL1 and PAK1 that form a ternary complex with MUSK are also important for MUSK-dependent regulation of AChR clustering. May positively regulate Rho family GTPases through FNTA. Mediates the phosphorylation of FNTA which promotes prenylation, recruitment to membranes and activation of RAC1 a regulator of the actin cytoskeleton and of gene expression. Other effectors of the MUSK signaling include DNAJA3 which functions downstream of MUSK. May also play a role within the central nervous system by mediating cholinergic responses, synaptic plasticity and memory formation (By similarity).

Anti-RPS6KB1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (FITC (Fluorescein Isothiocyanate))

Supplier: Bioss

This gene encodes a member of the ribosomal S6 kinase family of serine/threonine kinases. The encoded protein responds to mTOR (mammalian target of rapamycin) signaling to promote protein synthesis, cell growth, and cell proliferation. Activity of this gene has been associated with human cancer. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been observed. The use of alternative translation start sites results in isoforms with longer or shorter N-termini which may differ in their subcellular localizations. There are two pseudogenes for this gene on chromosome 17. [provided by RefSeq, Jan 2013].

Anti-DNAJA3 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Cy5.5®)

Supplier: Bioss

TID1 is a human homolog of the Drosophila tumor suppressor lethal tumerous imaginal discs and encodes two mitochondrial matrix localized splice variants of human Tid1 designated hTid1S and hTid1L. These proteins are the conserved members of the DnaJ family of proteins which act as cochaperons for mitochondrial Hsp70. They contain a conserved tetrahedrical J domain which binds to Hsp70 chaperones and activates their ATPase activity. Expression of hTid1L increases apoptosis induced by DNA damaging agents as mitomycin C and TNF alpha. A J domain mutant of hTid1L can dominantly suppress apoptosis and in sharp contrast the J domain mutant of hTid1S increases apoptosis. Expression of hTid1S and hTid1L affects cytochrome c release from the mitochondria and caspase 3 activation, while activation of caspase 8 is unaffected. It is strongly suggested that these two splice variants exert their anti and pro apoptotic effects through discrete substrates and activities. Hence the relative abundance of these proteins or their substrates may allow the mitochondria to dampen or enhance the apoptotic signals.

Anti-UBE2H Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor® 647)

Supplier: Bioss

UBE2H, also known as UBC8, UBCH, UBCH2 or E2-20K, is a 183 amino acid protein involved in ubiquitin-mediated protein degradation. Ubiquitination is an important mechanism through which three classes of enzymes act in concert to target short-lived or abnormal proteins for destruction. The three classes of enzymes involved in ubiquitination are the ubiquitin-activating enzymes (E1s), the ubiquitin-conjugating enzymes (E2s) and the ubiquitin-protein ligases (E3s). One of several members of the ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family, UBE2H functions as an E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme that acts to catalyze the covalent attachment of ubiquitin residues to various proteins, including Histone H2A. UBE2H shares 100% identity with its mouse counterpart and 98% identity with its frog and zebrafish homologs, suggesting a conserved function between species. Multiple isoforms of UBE2H exist due to alternative splicing events.

Anti-ODF2 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Cy3®)

Supplier: Bioss

Cenexin1 is an isoform of ODF2, that unlike ODF2 is present in several somatic cell types. Cenexin1 acts as a general scaffold protein that is specifically localised to the distal/subdistal appendages of mother centrioles. Cenexin1 is required for proper localization of Plk1 to the centrosomes. This centrosomal localization of Plk1 is required for proper microtubule function. Cenexin1 recruits Plk1 via a C-terminal extension of cenexin1 that is not present in ODF2. Cenexin1 is required for proper mitotic progression; depletion of Cenexin1 ultimately leads to chromosome missegregation and apoptosis. The ODF2 (outer dense fiber 2) gene encodes both ODF2 and Cenexin1, which have very different functions. ODF2 is a major component of sperm tail outer dense fibers (ODFs). ODFs are filamentous structures located on the outside of the axoneme in the midpiece and principal piece of the mammalian sperm tail. They may help to maintain the passive elastic structures and elastic recoil of the sperm tail, and may also modulate sperm motility.
