Biotinylated probes for detection of His-tagged proteins immobilised on nitrocellulose membranes.

  • White solid soluble in water
  • Removable from the histidine-tagged protein at pH 4,8

Biotin NTA, also known as BNTA (Biotin nitrilotriacetic acid, tripotassium salt) reversibly binds to histidine-tagged proteins, and can be detected with Biotium's CF™ Dye streptavidin or monoclonal anti-biotin fluorescent conjugates. Available with 6-atom aminohexanoyl (X) linker between the biotin and NTA to facilitate interaction with streptavidin.
