Cell-permeable flavonoid. Lipoxygenase inhibitor (IC₅₀ values are 0,64 and 1,6 μM at 12- and 15-lipoxygenases, respectively). Shows antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Also induces apoptosis. Additionally, inhibits α-syn oligomerisation, β-Amyloid induced neurotoxicity and amyloid protein aggregation.
