Density Meters with Peltier Temperature Control, DSG

DSG series density meters with Peltier temperature control for measuring the density, specific gravity, Brix or other parameters of liquid solutions within the food, beverage, chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical manufacturing and research industries. Highly precise and conforming to pharmacopeia (BP/EP/USP) and FDA regulation 21 CFR part 11.

The compact meter incorporates a 17,8 cm full colour touchscreen display. The software is Methods based allowing reading selection from a number of measurement parameters including density (g/cm³), specific gravity, sucrose %w/w (°Brix), ethanol (%w/w, %v/v) or API gravity. Up to 10000 results and configurations may be recorded to its internal memory with access and reporting in accordance with FDA reg. 21 CFR part 11.

DSG density meters incorporate an integral pump for sample extraction as well as providing dry air cleaning. The instrument’s onboard desiccant used to dry the measurement cell between readings and prior to calibration is neatly enclosed within the case helping to preserve valuable bench space and may be easily changed when prompted to do so.

Powerful internal Peltier temperature control devices rapidly regulate the measurement cell and sample, providing for optimum measurement performance. Additional sensors measuring humidity and air pressure ensure measurement, calibration and cleaning are performed correctly without the need of extraneous inputs.

DSG density meters have an upper operating temperature of 95 °C, facilitating the measurement of highly viscous samples such a waxes and other products that are too viscous to measure at ambient temperature.
