The Thermo Scientific Pierce luciferase cell lysis buffer effectively lyses adherent cells or pelleted suspension cells for analysis of promoter expression in luciferase assays.
- Compatible with all Pierce Luciferase reporter assays
- Enables rapid and efficient lysis
- Tested compatibility with multiple mammalian cell lines
- Compatible with protein assays (e.g., coomassie plus and BCA)
Pierce Luciferase Cell Lysis Buffer has been tested and validated to produce luciferase assay-compatible lysates from a variety of cell types. Essentially complete lysis of adherent cells has been observed with nearly all of the cell types tested to date, including COS-7, NIH3T3, Hepa 1-6, 293, CHO, MDA, MB 231, Jurkat, and FM2 cells.
