About this item
NHS-activated agarose is an amine-reactive, beaded-agarose resin for rapid and stable immobilisation of proteins, peptides and other ligands via primary amines.
- Immobilise in a simple one-step reaction
- No hazardous chemicals needed
- Available as dry powder, spin columns or slurry
- Leak-resistant chemistry makes it resuable
- Coupling capacity >25 mg/ml for dry resin and >30 mg/ml for slurry
- Affinity resin is adaptable to column and batch affinity chromatography techniques and FPLC applications
NHS-activated agarose is crosslinked, 6% beaded agarose resin that contains N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) functional groups. The activated resin reacts with primary amines to form stable amide linkages that covalently immobilise antibodies or other proteins for use in affinity purification procedures.
