Pour la détection et l'identification quantitatives et qualitatives des Alicyclobacilli et des Alicyclobacilli productrices de gaïacol, à l'origine d'odeurs anormales.
Cette solution complète comprend des milieux de culture BAT prêts à l'emploi et le kit de détection de gaïacol par tests enzymatiques. Elle permet de détecter les bactéries Alicyclobacilli productrices de gaïacol de manière rapide et sûre. Cette technique simple de détection répond aux exigences de la méthode n° 12 élaborée par l'IFU (International Fruit Juice Union, ou Fédération Internationale des Producteurs de Jus de Fruits), intitulée « Method on Detection of taint producing Alicyclobacillus in Fruit Juices ».
