These transparent PMMA or borosilicate 3.3 glass cabinets have a reinforced aluminium frame, door with foam rubber gasket and magnetic strip. Designed for storing or drying humidity-sensitive products using silica gel. The controlled environment inside the desiccator is ideal for storing reference materials, retained samples, metallographic specimens, tobacco and DNA samples. Super-Star cabinets can be filled with inert gas, e.g. nitrogen to allow safe and secure storage of poisonous chemicals.
