Designed for easy and stable stacking, these multiwell plates are characterised by yellow strip marking areas and easy-to-read, black embossed, alphanumeric well labelling. The cell growth surface treatment is limited to the well bottoms and offers optimal attachment and growth for a variety of cell types. The untreated well walls help flatten the liquid meniscus that forms, thereby reducing light diffusion. This feature, along with the optical clarity of the well bottoms, makes these plates ideal for microscopic examination and spectroscopic measurements.

The Triple Bagged (3-B) Packaging system meets strict cleanroom standards, preventing contamination from entering highly sensitive production areas. Each product is packaged individually in a tear-open bag. Each bag is labeled with a security number: 3 = external, 2 = middle, 1 = innermost bag. The innermost bag, Bag 1, is labeled with the product details, ie. product number, product description, lot number. The peel-open bags are increasingly sized, so that during handling of one bag the next bag in is not accidentally damaged rendering it contaminated. This significantly increases safe handling of substances in a sterile environment.
