SATB2 Antibody: Human special AT-rich sequence-binding protein-2 (SATB2) is a nuclear matrix/scaffold-associated region DNA-binding protein. Like its homolog SATB1, SATB2 selectively binds double-stranded, special AT-rich DNA sequences, but is expressed primarily in a subset of postmitotic, differentiating neurons in the neocortex. Mice deficient in SATB exhibit craniofacial abnormalities and defects in osteoblast differentiation and function. SATB2 also interacts with and enhances the activity of Runx2 and ATF4, two transcription factors that regulate osteoblast differentiation, indicating that SATB2 acts as a molecular node in a transcriptional network regulating skeletal development and osteoblast differentiation. Recent experiments have shown that SATB2 interacts with histone deacetylase 1 and metastasis-associated protein 2, two proteins that are involved in chromatin remodeling, suggesting that SATB2 may also be involved in mediating epigenetic influences during cortical development.

ATP2C2 Antibody: ATP2C2, also known as secretory pathway Ca2+/Mn2+-ATPase (SPCA) 2, belongs to the family of P-type cation transport ATPases. This magnesium-dependent enzyme catalyzes the hydrolysis of ATP coupled with the transport of the calcium from the cytosol to the Golgi lumen. Defects in the related gene ATP2C1 cause Hailey-Hailey disease, for which ATP2C2 does not compensate, suggesting that ATP2C2 plays other physiological roles. Unlike ATP2C1, ATP2C2 has a much more restricted expression pattern and displays a higher maximal turnover rate for overall Ca2+-ATPase reaction and a lower apparent affinity for cytosolic Ca2+ activation of phosphorylation. SPT1 Antibody: Serine palmitoyltransferase, which consists of two different subunits, is the key enzyme in sphingolipid biosynthesis. Interleukin-21 (IL-21) is a key factor in the transition between innate and adaptive immune responses secreted by activated T cells. The IL-21 receptor (IL-21R) is expressed in lymphoid tissue, in particular by NK, B, T and dendritic cells, macrophages and endothelial cells. Recent evidence suggests that IL-21 plays a supportive role in the proliferation of T and B cells and influences the cytolytic activity of natural killer cells. IL-21 has been shown to up-regulate genes associated with innate immunity and to inhibit the differentiation of naive T helper cells. IL-21 specifically inhibits IFN-gamma production from developing TH1 cells and is preferentially expressed by TH2 cells. Furthermore IL-21 has been identified as a growth and survival factor for human myeloma cells. IL-21/IL-21R interactions have a unique role in sequentially activating both innate and adaptive immune responses against poorly immunogenic tumours, leading to tumour rejection that is perforin dependent but IFN-gamma independent.
