Bungarotoxins are venom toxins from the many-banded krait (Bungarus Multicinctus), which inhibit neurotransmission at the neuromuscular junction. Alpha-bungarotoxin is a potent inhibitor for the motor endplate acetylcholine receptor (Kd = 1 nM to 1 pM).
