These mixed cellulose ester membrane filters are designed for asbestos sampling using the membrane filter method for phase contrast microscopy. Asbestos sampling isolates these fibres from circulating air to determine concentrations.
- Designed for use with the 'hot block method'
- White with black grid for high contrast during asbestos testing using microscopy
- Becomes transparent with acetone vapour treatment, distinguishing fibres from crystalline artifacts
