D-(-)-Luciferin ≥98% chemiluminescent luciferase substrate

Cell-permeable chemiluminescent luciferase substrate. Emits lights upon oxidative decarboxylation in the presence of ATP. Provides a bioluminescent signal for cellular ATP levels in vivo. Water soluble analogs are D-Luciferin potassium salt and D-Luciferin sodium salt.
