The RPB PX5 is a battery powered air purifying respirator fan unit which draws in contaminated air from the wearer’s immediate vicinity, passing it through internal filters, and supplying the filtered air to an approved RPB loose fitting respirator head top.

• Filter door cannot mount to the unit unless a filter is fixed in place

• Gas filter protects against organic vapor exposure (replace pre-filter daily to extend the life of main filter)
• Visual, audible, and vibrating alarms for low battery level, or when airflow falls below the minimum requirements

Weighing just 1,16 kg with HEPA filter fitted (1,65 to 1,7 kg with gas filter fitted), the sleek, lightweight, compact design maximizes comfort. PX5 unit attaches to a flexi-belt system (fitted with the decon easy clean belt) via an intuitive vertical mount lock system (easily removes for quick and simple decontamination).

Deigned to be as compact and comfortable as possible, the Easy clean PX5 Starter kit is perfect for use within infection control, and cleanroom environments, where easily and effectively cleaning the system is of utmost importance. Depending on what type of contaminant users require protection from, the PX5 has various filter options, including gas and multi filters. The PX5 also has built-in audible, visual, and physical alarms to warn the wearer when their filter needs to be changed, or when there is only 5% of the battery charge remaining.

The unit is IP 65 (in use) and IP 67 rated.
