Pellet Paint® NF Co-Precipitant ist ein nicht fluoreszierender, mit Farbstoff markierter Träger, der sich für die fluoreszierende Sequenzierung eignet. Er ermöglicht während der Alkoholfällung der Zyklussequenzierung von Reaktionsprodukten die rasche Entfernung von BigDye® Terminatoren. Zyklussequenzierungsreaktionen können mit Zentrifugationszeiten von 10 Minuten schnell gefällt werden. Der gut sichtbare Träger liefert eine einfache Bestätigung, dass die Fällung stattgefunden hat. Die Produkte der Sequenzierungsreaktion werden effizient pelletiert, und die mit Farbstoff markierten Terminatoren verbleiben bei Verwendung der Standard-Fällungsprotokolle von Applied Biosystems während der Alkoholfällung im Überstandmedium. Die Resuspension von pelletierten Sequenzierungsreaktionsprodukten in deionisiertem Formamid kann durch die Überprüfung der Auflösung der Trägerpellets bestätigt werden.

Pfu DNA Polymerase, derived from the hyperthermophilic archae Pyrococcus furiosus, has superior thermostability and proofreading properties compared to other thermostable polymerases. It has a molecular weight of 90 kDa and can amplify DNA targets up to 2 kb. The elongation velocity is 0,2~0,4 kb/min (70~75 °C). Pfu DNA Polymerase possesses 3' to 5' exonuclease proofreading activity that enables the polymerase to correct nucleotide misincorporation errors. This means that Pfu DNA Polymerase-generated PCR fragments will have fewer errors than Taq-generated PCR inserts. Using Pfu DNA Polymerase results in blunt-ended PCR products, which are ideal for cloning into blunt-ended vectors. Pfu DNA Polymerase is superior for techniques that require high-fidelity DNA synthesis.

The One Step RT-PCR Master Mix Kit allows rapid, sensitive analysis of gene expression from tissues and cells. It can replace methods for detecting and quantifying gene expression such as Northern blots, in situ hybridisation, dot blots, S nuclease assays and conventional two step RT-PCR. The kit utilises recombinant Thermus thermophilus (rTth) DNA Polymerase, which acts as both a thermostable RNA dependent DNA polymerase and a DNA dependent DNA polymerase. The rTth DNA Polymerase is provided in a 2X master mix with an antibody for antibody-mediated hot start, optimised buffer, and ultrapure deoxynucleotides. Antibody-mediated Hot Start enhances specificity of both reverse transcription and PCR. The kit enables cDNA synthesis from input RNA followed by PCR amplification of the cDNA in a single reaction, with no additional hands-on requirement for buffer changes or adding reagents. Typically, detection of a specific transcript requires only 2 hours.
