Die regelmäßige Verwendung von Leitfähigkeitsstandards in Fabriken und Laboren gewährleistet, dass Instrumente jederzeit ordnungsgemäß kalibriert sind und genaue Messwerte liefern. Durch das Einführen von Sonden in die Lösung mit bekannter Leitfähigkeit können die Geräteeinstellungen vor dem Test angepasst werden.
