Blöcke für den Einsatz in Heizgeräten und Trockengefäßen haben verschiedene Anzahlen von Vertiefungen, um zahlreiche Proben gleichzeitig zu verarbeiten. Modelle halten Reagenzgläser, Mikrozentifugenröhrchen, Vials, Zentrifugenröhrchen mit konischem Boden oder PCR-Platten, Röhrchen und Strips während des Erhitzungsprozesses sicher in engem Kontakt für optimalen Wärmetransfer. Aus massivem, eloxiertem Aluminium gefertigt, bieten die Blöcke maximale Wärmespeicherung.
