Kühler
Laborkühler kühlen Dämpfe, die von erhitzten Flüssigkeiten abgegeben werden, ab und bringen sie in den flüssigen Aggregatzustand zurück. Die aus Glas gefertigten Geräte mit geraden, kugel- oder spiral- bzw. schlangenförmigen Rohren sorgen für eine schnelle Kühlung. Besonders effizient sind Modelle mit einem äußeren Mantel oder einer inneren Kühlspirale. Obwohl Laborkühler meist für organische Substanzen verwendet werden, sind einige Modelle auch für flüchtige Stoffe geeignet. Die Vorrichtungen besitzen Normschliff-Kerne und -Hülsen, damit sie genau in die Versuchsapparaturen passen.
