Verschiedene Dichtungen bieten zusätzlichen Lösungsmittelwiderstand, während durchlässige Ausführungen den Gasaustausch und Sterilisationsverfahren des Mediums erfolgreich filtern. Proben werden selbst unter anspruchsvollen Bedingungen wie Gefriertrocknung (Lyophilisation) oder Autoklavierung durch temperaturbeständige Kappen geschützt. Kompressionskappen für Mikromaßstabsreaktionsgefäße unterstützen stabile Beobachtungen. Einweg- und wiederverwendbare Schraubverschlüsse sind in vielen Farben mit oder ohne Septen erhältlich.
