Anti-SUR1/ABCC8 Goat Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Thermo Scientific
This antibody is predicted to react with canine, mouse and rat based on sequence homology. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the superfamily of ATP-binding cassette transporters. ABC proteins transport various molecules across extra- and intra-cellular membranes. ABC genes are divided into seven distinct subfamilies . This protein is a member of the MRP subfamily which is involved in multi-drug resistance. This protein functions as a modulator of ATP-sensitive potassium channels and insulin release. Mutations and deficiencies in this protein have been observed in patients with hyperinsulinemic hypoglycemia of infancy, an autosomal recessive disorder of unregulated and high insulin secretion. Mutations have also been associated with non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus type II, an autosomal dominant disease of defective insulin secretion. Alternative splicing of this gene has been observed; however, the transcript variants have not been fully described.

Anti-ENPP2 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Thermo Scientific
This antibody is predicted to react with bovine based on sequence homology. ENPP2 functions as both a phosphodiesterase, which cleaves phosphodiester bonds at the 5' end of oligonucleotides, and a phospholipase, which catalyzes production of lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) in extracellular fluids. LPA evokes growth factor-like responses including stimulation of cell proliferation and chemotaxis. This protein stimulates the motility of tumor cells and has angiogenic properties, and its expression is upregulated in several kinds of carcinomas. This protein is secreted and further processed to make the biologically active form.

Anti-Kappa Light Chain Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Thermo Scientific
This Antibody targets Kappa Light Chain in IHC (P) applications and shows reactivity with Human, baboon, monkey and rat samples. Does not react with dog samples. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6. 0, for 10-20 minutes followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes. The immunogen is kappa light chains purified from human Bence Jones proteins. Antibody to the kappa light chain of immunoglobulin is reportedly useful in the identification of leukemias, plasmacytomas, and certain non-Hodgkin's lymphomas. Demonstration of clonality in lymphoid infiltrates indicates that the infiltrate is clonal and therefore malignant.

Anti-TRPM7 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Thermo Scientific
TRPCs, mammalian homologs of the Drosophila transient receptor potential (trp) protein, are ion channels that are thought to mediate capacitative calcium entry into the cell. TRP-PLIK is a protein that is both an ion channel and a kinase. As a channel, it conducts calcium and monovalent cations to depolarize cells and increase intracellular calcium. As a kinase, it is capable of phosphorylating itself and other substrates. The kinase activity is necessary for channel function, as shown by its dependence on intracellular ATP and by the kinase mutants.[supplied by OMIM]

Anti-DPP10 Goat Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Thermo Scientific
This antibody is predicted to react with bovine and canine based on sequence homology. This gene encodes a single-pass type II membrane protein that is a member of the S9B family in clan SC of the serine proteases. This protein has no detectable protease activity, most likely due to the absence of the conserved serine residue normally present in the catalytic domain of serine proteases. However, it does bind specific voltage-gated potassium channels and alters their expression and biophysical properties. Mutations in this gene have been associated with asthma. Alternate transcriptional splice variants, encoding different isoforms, have been characterized.

Anti-CD82 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Thermo Scientific
The ST6 metastasis suppressor gene product is a membrane glycoprotein that is a member of the transmembrane 4 superfamily. Expression has been shown to be downregulated in tumor progression of human cancers and can be activated by p53 through a consensus binding sequence in the promoter. Its expression and that of p53 are strongly correlated, and the loss of expression of these two proteins is associated with poor survival for prostate cancer patients.

Anti-CNTFR Goat Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Thermo Scientific
This antibody is predicted to react with canine, human and rat based on sequence homology. This gene encodes a hematopoeitin/interferon-class receptor belonging to the cytokine superfamily of receptors. The encoded gene product represents the CNTF-specific alpha subunit of a heterotrimer forming the CNTF receptor complex, which also includes LIFR and gp130. The receptor is attached to the membrane by a glycosyl-phosphatidylinositol linkage and contains an immunoglobulin-like C2-type domain and a fibronectin type-III domain. Signal transduction requires that CNTF bind first to this alpha component, which permits the recruitment of gp130 and LIFR beta to form the tripartite receptor complex. Signal transduction stimulates gene expression, cell survival or differentiation in a variety of neuronal cell types. Alternative splicing has been observed at this locus and two variants, both encoding the same protein, have been identified.

Anti-ACYP1 Goat Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Thermo Scientific
This antibody is predicted to react with mouse and rat based on sequence homology. Acylphosphatase is a small cytosolic enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of the carboxyl-phosphate bond of acylphosphates. Two isoenzymes have been isolated, called muscle acylphosphatase and erythrocyte acylphosphatase, on the basis of their tissue localization. This gene encodes the erythrocyte acylphosphatase isoenzyme. Alternatively spliced transcript variants that encode different proteins were identified through data analysis.

Anti-A1AT Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Thermo Scientific
PA5-16661 targets Alpha-1-Antitrypsin in IHC (P) applications and shows reactivity with Equine, Human, Mink, monkey, and baboon samples. Does not react with Canine, Chicken, Feline, Guinea Pig, Goat, Marsupial, mouse, Ovine, and Porcine samples The PA5-16661 immunogen is purified human serum alpha-1-AT. alpha-1-antitrypsin (alpha-1-AT) which exists in a number of genetic variants. MM variant is the most common. Alpha-1-AT is synthesized in the liver and it acts as an inhibitor of proteases such as trypsin, elastase, chymotrypsin, collagenase, leucocytic proteases, plasmin, and thrombin, which may be released during inflammatory reactions in the lung. In the absence of alpha-1-AT, these enzymes are not inhibited and they may digest pulmonary parenchyma. Alpha-1-AT deficiency is associated with chronic obstructive lung disease (emphysema) and less frequently with hepatic cirrhosis in infants and respiratory distress of the newborn. Increase in alpha-1-AT occurs as an acute phase response to tissue necrosis and inflammation. Serum level of alpha-1-AT is elevated in rheumatoid arthritis, bacterial infections, vasculitis, and carcinomatosis.
