Anti-DDX11 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (FITC (Fluorescein Isothiocyanate))

Supplier: Bioss

DNA helicase involved in cellular proliferation. Possesses DNA-dependent ATPase and helicase activities. This helicase translocates on single-stranded DNA in the 5' to 3' direction in the presence of ATP and, to a lesser extent, dATP. Its unwinding activity requires a 5'-single-stranded region for helicase loading, since flush-ended duplex structures do not support unwinding. The helicase activity is capable of displacing duplex regions up to 100 bp, which can be extended to 500 bp by RPA or the cohesion establishment factor, the Ctf18-RFC (replication factor C) complex activities. Stimulates the flap endonuclease activity of FEN1. Required for normal sister chromatid cohesion. Required for recruitement of bovine papillomavirus type 1 regulatory protein E2 to mitotic chrmosomes and for viral genome maintenance. Required for maintaining the chromosome segregation and is essential for embryonic development and the prevention of aneuploidy. May function during either S, G2, or M phase of the cell cycle. Binds to both single- and double-stranded DNA.Tissue specificity: Highly expressed in spleen, B-cells, thymus, testis, ovary, small intestine, and pancreas. Very low expression seen in the brain. Expressed in dividing cells and/or cells undergoing high levels of recombination. No expression is seen in cells signaled to terminally differentiate. Expressed in keratinocyte growth factor-stimulated cells but not in serum, EGF and IL1-beta-treated keratinocytes.

Anti-LPP Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (HRP (Horseradish Peroxidase))

Supplier: Bioss

LPP (LIM containing lipoma preferred partner), is a scaffolding protein which contains three LIM domains at its carboxy terminus, preceded by a proline rich pre LIM region containing a number of protein interaction domains. LPP localizes to sites of cell adhesion, such as focal adhesions and cell-cell contacts and may be involved in cell-cell adhesion and cell motility. LPP also shuttles through the nucleus and may function as a transcriptional co-activator. The human LPP gene maps to chromosomal location 3q28, and preferentially translocates to the HMGIC gene in a subclass of human benign mesenchymal tumors known as lipomas. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

Anti-H3F3A Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Bioss

Histones are basic nuclear proteins that are responsible for the nucleosome structure of the chromosomal fiber in eukaryotes. Two molecules of each of the four core histones (H2A, H2B, H3, and H4) form an octamer, around which approximately 146 bp of DNA is wrapped in repeating units, called nucleosomes. The linker histone, H1, interacts with linker DNA between nucleosomes and functions in the compaction of chromatin into higher order structures. This gene is intronless and encodes a member of the histone H3 family. Transcripts from this gene lack polyA tails but instead contain a palindromic termination element. This gene is found in the large histone gene cluster on chromosome 6. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008].

Anti-CLLD6 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Cy3®)

Supplier: Bioss

CLLD6, is a 196 amino acid protein that contains one B30.2/SPRY domain. Expression of CLLD6 is found at highest levels in heart, skeletal muscle and testis, with lower levels found in thymus, peripheral blood leukocytes, lymph node and bone marrow. Existing as two alternatively spliced isoforms, CLLD6 maps to human chromosome 13, which comprises nearly 4% of human DNA and contains about 114 million base pairs and 400 genes. Key tumor suppressor genes on chromosome 13 include the breast cancer susceptibility gene, BRCA2, and the RB1 (retinoblastoma) gene. RB1 encodes a crucial tumor suppressor protein which, when defective, leads to malignant growth in the retina and has been implicated in a variety of other cancers. The gene SLITRK1, which is associated with Tourette syndrome, is on chromosome 13. As with most chromosomes, polysomy of part or all of chromosome 13 is deleterious to development and decreases the odds of survival.

Anti-CACNA1E Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Cy7®)

Supplier: Bioss

Calcium channels mediate the influx of calcium ions into the cell following membrane polarisation. R-type calcium channels such as Cav2.3 belong to the "high voltage-activated" group and are blocked by nickel. The calcium channel consists of a complex of alpha-1, alpha-2/delta, beta, and gamma subunits in a 1:1:1:1 ratio. Each of these proteins exists as multiple isoforms, either encoded by different genes or arising from alternative splicing of transcripts. Cav2.3 is an alpha-1 subunit and has 24 transmembrane segments, which form the pore through which ions pass into the cell. Calcium channels containing the Cav2.3 subunit may be involved in the modulation of firing patterns of neurons, which is important for information processing.

Anti-MAPK8IP1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (FITC (Fluorescein Isothiocyanate))

Supplier: Bioss

The JNK-interacting protein (JIP) group of scaffold proteins selectively mediates JNK signaling by aggregating specific components of the MAPK cascade to form a functional JNK signaling module. Required for JNK activation in response to excitotoxic stress. Cytoplasmic MAPK8IP1 causes inhibition of JNK-regulated activity by retaining JNK in the cytoplasm and inhibiting JNK phosphorylation of c-Jun. May also participate in ApoER2-specific reelin signaling. Directly, or indirectly, regulates GLUT2 gene expression and beta-cell function. Appears to have a role in cell signaling in mature and developing nerve terminals. May function as a regulator of vesicle transport, through interactions with the JNK-signaling components and motor proteins (By similarity). Functions as an anti-apoptotic protein and whose level seems to influence the beta-cell death or survival response.

Anti-ERBB4 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Bioss

This gene is a member of the Tyr protein kinase family and the epidermal growth factor receptor subfamily. It encodes a single-pass type I membrane protein with multiple cysteine rich domains, a transmembrane domain, a tyrosine kinase domain, a phosphotidylinositol-3 kinase binding site and a PDZ domain binding motif. The protein binds to and is activated by neuregulins and other factors and induces a variety of cellular responses including mitogenesis and differentiation. Multiple proteolytic events allow for the release of a cytoplasmic fragment and an extracellular fragment. Mutations in this gene have been associated with cancer. Alternatively spliced variants which encode different protein isoforms have been described; however, not all variants have been fully characterized. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008].

Anti-BPI Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (HRP (Horseradish Peroxidase))

Supplier: Bioss

The antimicrobial protein Bactericidal Permeability Increasing protein (BPI) is a 55 kDa protein found in the primary granules of polymorhonuclear leukocytes (PMN). The cytotoxicity action of BPI is limited to gram negative bacteria, reflecting the high affinity of BPI for bacterial LPS. Binding of BPI to live bacteria via LPS causes anti-infective activites: 1) cytotoxicity via sequential damage to bacterial outer and inner lipid membranes, 2) neutralization of gram-negative bacterial LPS, 3) opsonization of bacteria to enhance phagocytosis by neutrophils.

Anti-STRADA Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (HRP (Horseradish Peroxidase))

Supplier: Bioss

Members of the STE-20 like kinase family are known to stimulate MAPK pathways by directly activating MAPKKK. LYK5 is a novel pseudokinase member of this family consisting of a STE-20 like kinase domain but lacks several residues that are required for its catalytic activity. It specifically binds LKB1 and plays a key role in regulating the tumor suppressor activities of LKB1. It functions as an upstream activator of LKB1 and also directs the sub-cellular localization of LKB1 by anchoring it in the cytoplasm. LYK5-LKB1 interaction results in phosphorylation of LYK5 and enhanced autophosphorylation of LKB1.
