The 1D3 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with MouseCD19, a 95 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein, a member of the Ig superfamily and a B cell-lineage differentiation antigen expressed by all the B lymphocyte development stages, except for the terminally differentiated plasma cells. CD19 associates with CD21, CD81 and MHC class II to form a multi-molecular complex that initiates the mature B lymphocyte activation by interaction with the B-cell receptors. CD 19 enhances the B cell proliferation, development and activation, and the maturation of memory B cells. In CD19-deficient mice, the generation and maturation of B lymphocytes in the bone marrow and periphery are affected.

The J116 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with human Programmed death-1 (PD-1 or CD279), a 50-55 kDA glycoprotein. It is expressed on mainly on activated B, T, and myeloid cells. Within the cytoplasmic region, PD-1 contains an Immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory motif (ITIM) and seems to regulate peripheral tolerance. The lack or mutation of CD279 is linked to autoimmune disorders.The J116 antibody does not block the binding of the PD-1 ligand, but does inhibit the PD-1 signal transduction.

The 145-2C11 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD3e, the 20 kDa ε chain of the TCR complex. Together with the γ and δ subunits of CD3, the ε subunits are involved in the assembly, trafficking, and surface expression of T-cell receptor complex. CD3 is expressed on thymocytes, mature T cells, and natural killer T cells, and the ε chain enhances the antigen recognition.The 145-2C11 antibody binds to the TCR complex and, depending on the conditions, initiates T cells activation, proliferation, and apoptosis. The soluble antibody seems to block lysis of target cells by antigen-specific cytotoxic T lymphocytes. The 145-2C11 antibody does not cross-react with the rat leukocytes, and it is used as a phenotypic marker for mouse T lymphocytes.

The IM7 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with all the isoforms and both alloantigens of the CD44 glycoprotein (Pgp-1, Ly-24). CD44 is expressed on hematopoietic and non-hematopoietic cells, bone marrow myeloid cells, memory T lymphocytes, periphery activated B cells, CD4+ T lymphocytes, and CD8+ T lymphocytes.
