Anti-CD11c Armenian Hamster Monoclonal Antibody (APC (Allophycocyanin)) [clone: N418]

Supplier: Biogems

The N418 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with the integrin αx chain of the mouse CD11c, which is expressed on dendritic cells, CD4-/CD8+ intestinal intraepithelial lymphocytes (IEL) and some activated T lymphocytes. Low levels of CD11c were detected on mouse splenic natural killer cells and on the monocyte/macrophage lineage cells.CD11c expression is upregulated on IEL and T lymphocytes after activation. It binds to CD54, fibrinogen and iC3b and influences the leukocyte adhesive interactions. The N418 antibody binds to CD11c on splenic dendritic cells of the mouse in the T-dependent areas. It also contributes to the binding of iC3b.

Anti-CD4 Rat Monoclonal Antibody (PE (Phycoerythrin)) [clone: GK1.5]

Supplier: Biogems

The GK1.5 monoclonal antibody specifically binds with the mouse CD4 molecule, also known as L3T4, a 55 kDa differentiation antigen which binds to the MHC class II. CD4 is expressed on most thymocytes, a subpopulation of mature T lymphocytes, dendritic cells, pluripotent hematopoietic stem cells, B cell precursors, and lymphoid precursors inside the thymus. It is also expressed on the mouse egg cell membrane, enhancing adhesion to MHC class II bearing sperm. By interaction with MHC class II on the surface of APC, CD4 initiates the development of T lymphocytes and helps the optimum functioning of mature T lymphocytes. The binding of the GK1.5 antibody blocks the binding of the Anti-Mouse CD4 RM4-5 antibody.

Supplier: Biogems

The DL-101 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with human CD138, a 85-92 kDA type I heparan sulfate proteoglycan. CD138 is known as Syndecan-1 and is expressed on pre-B cells, immature B cells, plasma cells, and malignant plasma cells, to the exclusion of mature circulating B cells. Syndecan-1 is also expressed on vascular smooth muscle, endothelial, neural, and embryonic mesenchymal cells. It is involved in cellular proliferation, cellular migration, and acts as an extracellular matrix receptor. Among the hematopoietic elements, CD138 is a useful marker for plasma cells.

Anti-CD19 Mouse Monoclonal Antibody (PE (Phycoerythrin)-Cy7®) [clone: HIB19]

Supplier: Biogems

The HIB19 monoclonal antibody reacts with a human 95 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein known as CD19, which is expressed by B lymphocytes during all the developmental stages, except for the terminally differentiated plasma cells. CD19 is also expressed on follicular dendritic cells, and seems to ensure the regulation of B lymphocytes proliferation. CD19, CD21, CD81, MHC class II, and Leu13 can bind together and form a complex which associates with the B cell receptor (BCR) on the surface of B lymphocytes and facilitates the signal transduction.

The HI30 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with the 180 kDa, 190 kDa, 205 kDa, and 220 kDa isoforms of the human leukocyte common antigen (LCA) CD45. It is expressed on lymphocytes, granulocytes, monocytes, thymocytes, and eosinophils, but not on mature erythrocytes, platelets, mature erythroid cells of bone marrow, and non-hematopoietic tissues. Anti-CD8a Mouse Monoclonal Antibody (APC (Allophycocyanin)) [clone: Hit8a]

Supplier: Biogems

The Hit8a monoclonal antibody reacts with the human CD8a molecule, a 32 kDa cell surface receptor expressed either as a heterodimer (CD8 α/β) or as a homodimer (CD8 α/α) on the majority of thymocytes, a subpopulation of mature T cells, and natural killer cells. CD8 interacts with the major histocompatibility complex class I (MHC class I) molecules on antigen-presenting cells or epithelial cells. The Hit8a antibody reacts with 13-48% of peripheral lymphocytes, 80% of thymocytes, and a subset of natural killer cells. HIT8a, RPA-T8, and OKT8 antibodies do not compete with each other for binding to peripheral leukocytes, meaning that that they do not recognize the same epitope or block each other by steric hindrance.

Anti-CD80 Armenian Hamster Monoclonal Antibody (APC (Allophycocyanin)) [clone: 16-10A1]

Supplier: Biogems

The 16-10A1 antibody reacts with mouse CD80, also known as B7-1, a 55 kDa type I transmembrane protein ligand for CD152 (CTLA-4) and for CD28, a co-stimulatory receptor for the T cell receptor (TCR). CD28 also binds a second B7 ligand known as CD86 (B7-2). Both CD80 and CD86 are expressed on activated B cells and antigen-presenting cells. These ligands trigger CD28 signaling in concert with TCR activation to drive T cell proliferation, induce high-level expression of IL-2, impart resistance to apoptosis, and enhance T cell cytotoxicity. The interaction / co-stimulatory signaling between the B7 ligands and CD28 or CTLA-4 provides crucial communication between T cells and B cells or APCs to coordinate the adaptive immune response.

Anti-KLRG1 Golden Syrian Hamster Monoclonal Antibody (FITC (Fluorescein Isothiocyanate)) [clone: 2F1]

Supplier: Biogems

The 2F1 monoclonal antibody is specific for the mouse Killer cell Lectin-like Receptor G1 (KLRG1), a homodimer consisting of two N-glycosylated subunits of 30-38 kDa, also known as MAFA (Mast cell Function-associated Antigen). The antigen contains a cytoplasmic motif similar to ITIM (the immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory motif). KLRG1 is a receptor for cadherin, a family of transmembrane glycoproteins that mediate cell adhesion, and a common marker of T cell senescence. The receptor is believed to play an important role in the innate and adaptive immune system through the regulation of leukocytes. It is expressed on lymphokine-activated killer (LAK) cells, adherent LAK (A-LAK) cells, a sub-set of natural killer (NK) cells, T cells. In NK cells, it inhibits cytokine production and cytotoxicity activity. The receptor expression was not detected on the mouse peritoneal mast cells, or bone marrow mast cells.

Anti-CD45.1 Mouse Monoclonal Antibody (APC (Allophycocyanin)) [clone: A20]

Supplier: Biogems

The A20 monoclonal antibody reacts with the leukocytes of the CD45.1-expressing mouse strains (DA, SJL/J, RIII, and STS/A). It does not cross-react with cells that express CD45.2. The CD45 molecule is a member of the Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase (PTP) family, because its intracellular region contains two PTP domains. The extracellular region’s variability is caused by different levels of glycosylation, and the splicing of the 4, 5, and 6 exons. The isoforms found in the mouse strains depend on the activation state, maturation stage and cell type, and are very important in B and T lymphocytes antigen receptor signal transduction. The A20 antibody inhibits some of the B lymphocytes responses, from CD45.1-expressing mice, to lipopolysaccharides and antigens.
