The 1A8 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with the 21-25 kDa glycophosphatidylinositol-anchored protein known as Ly-6G, expressed by the granulocytes from the bone marrow and periphery neutrophils. Ly-6G and Ly-6C form the Granulocyte Receptor-1 antigen (GR-1). The binding of the 1A8 antibody to the Ly-6G can be blocked by another antibody, RB6-8C5, which also recognizes Ly-6C. While 1A8 is specific for only Ly-6G, RB6-8C5 also binds to Ly-6C.

The DTA-1 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with mouse Glucocorticoid-Induced TNFR-related protein, also known as GITR and TNFRSF18, a 66-70 kDa homodimer glycoprotein, detected in the T cells treated with glucocorticoid dexamethasone. GITR is also expressed in naïve mice by CD25+/CD4+/CD8a- thymocytes and on CD25+/CD4+/CD45RB-low splenocytes. Low levels were detected in splenic CD25+/CD4+/CD45RB-low T cells, B cells, dendritic cells and macrophages. A GITR ligand was detected on dendritic cells, macrophages and B cells.The DTA-1 antibody stimulates GITR and abrogates suppression by T regulatory cells (Treg), without affecting their proliferation. DTA-1 administration or the removal of GITR-expressing cells led to organ specific autoimmune disease.

The H57-597 monoclonal antibody is specific for the beta chain of the mouse T cell Receptor (TCR). The crosslinking induces activation and proliferation of T cells, as a plate-bound or a soluble H57-597, or the plate-bound antibody can induce apoptosis, based on assay conditions. The beta chain of the TCR can combine with the alpha chain of the receptor to produce the alpha-beta TCR, which is expressed by the NKT cells, by the NK1.1+ thymocytes and most of the T cells. The beta chain does not react with the gamma-delta TCR-bearing cells, expressed by a small number of T cells. This antibody can be used as a phenotypic marker for the TCR beta expressing cells or for the functional purpose of TCR-mediated cell activation or apoptosis.

The HIB19 monoclonal antibody reacts with a human 95 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein known as CD19, which is expressed by B lymphocytes during all the developmental stages, except for the terminally differentiated plasma cells. CD19 is also expressed on follicular dendritic cells, and seems to ensure the regulation of B lymphocytes proliferation. CD19, CD21, CD81, MHC class II, and Leu13 can bind together and form a complex which associates with the B cell receptor (BCR) on the surface of B lymphocytes and facilitates the signal transduction.

The BNI3 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with human CD152, the Cytotoxic T-Lymphocyte Antigen 4 (CTLA-4). CTLA-4 is expressed on activated CD28+ T cells, and binds the B7 family members B7-1 (CD80) and B7-2 (CD86). The structure of CTLA-4 is similar to the structure of CD28, but the two molecules seem to have opposite roles on the T lymphocytes. CTLA-4 inhibits the progression of T cell activation, while CD28 stimulates it. This result explains the stimulating role that the immobilization of BNI3 plays on the T lymphocytes proliferation induced by CD28.

The 30-H12 monoclonal antibody specifically binds to MouseCD90.2, an alloantigen known as Thy-1.2, expressed on thymocytes, mature T cells, epithelial cells, neurons, hematopoietic stem cells, and fibroblasts. CD90 is a membrane glycoprotein that regulates the adhesion and signal transduction in T lymphocytes, and the adhesion of thymocytes to thymic stroma.The interaction between 30-H12 and the antibody to the CD3/TCR complex upregulates thymocytes signal transduction and apoptosis and downregulates mature T cell proliferation. The 30-H12 antibody seems to be unable to cross-link with CD90.1.

The M5/114.15.2 monoclonal antibody or (M5/114) is specific for the mouse major histocompatibility complex class II, specific for the I-A and I-E subregion-encoded glycoproteins (alloantigens I-Ab, I-Ad, I-Aq, I-Ed, and I-Ek, but not the I-Af, I-Ak, nor I-As antigens). The GK1.5 monoclonal antibody specifically binds with the mouse CD4 molecule, also known as L3T4, a 55 kDa differentiation antigen which binds to the MHC class II. CD4 is expressed on most thymocytes, a subpopulation of mature T lymphocytes, dendritic cells, pluripotent hematopoietic stem cells, B cell precursors, and lymphoid precursors inside the thymus. It is also expressed on the mouse egg cell membrane, enhancing adhesion to MHC class II bearing sperm. By interaction with MHC class II on the surface of APC, CD4 initiates the development of T lymphocytes and helps the optimum functioning of mature T lymphocytes. The Ly-6G protein is a myeloid differentiation antigen of 21-25 kDa, expressed in a regulated manner by the myeloid lineage in the bone marrow, where the level of antigen expression is correlated with the granulocyte maturation and differentiation. In the bone marrow, the antigen is not expressed by the erythroid cells. From the peripheric cells, RB6-8C5 binds with monocytes, neutrophils and eosinophils.As a marker for the mouse monocytes, macrophages and granulocytes, the RB6-8C5 antibody is usually combined with M1/70, a macrophage labeling antibody (Anti-CD11b), for phenotypic analysis.
