Thomson’s Optimum Growth® Sampling Flasks feature integrated one-way valves that enable aseptic sampling directly in the shaker or on the benchtop, helping reduce contamination risk and improve efficiency, especially in high-throughput environments. These flasks are available in multiple sizes with integrated one-way sampling valves, allowing aseptic sampling without removing the cap. Their design streamlines workflows and minimizes time, contamination risk, and handling complexity. The 0.2 µm PTFE vented caps support sterile gas exchange and maintain culture integrity.
Thomson’s Optimum Growth® Multiport flasks offer integrated ports that enable closed-system feeding, sampling, and media transfer, supporting sterile workflows without the need to open the flask, even during extended culture periods. These flasks are available in multiple sizes with a one-way sampling valve that allows safe and aseptic sampling while the flask remains in the shaker or on the benchtop. A two-way Luer lock port supports sterile feeding, inoculation, and direct media transfer to larger vessels with no tube fusing required, as media can be added or withdrawn through integrated ports. Their design eliminates the need for cell bags up to 50 L, reducing cost and complexity. Compatible with multi-day batch feeding in shaker environments, multiport flasks include sterile, pre-attached tubing for plug-and-play integration into cleanroom workflows.
