The nebulizer, spray chamber and burner, plays an important part in controlling the analytical performance of a flame AA spectrometer. Proper spray chamber design ensures the minimization of carbon build-up, burner blockage and volatilization interferences. The spray chamber must also provide excellent drainage.

The Mark 7 spray chamber features an adjustable impact bead that breaks up aerosol droplets and provides the operator with control over the aerosol concentration. A set of removable twin-head mixing paddles promote mixing and large droplet removal. These features provide a smaller drop size aerosol, reducing burner blockage, signal noise, and improving long term signal stability.
