Controllers offer independent control of heating and cooling devices
On/off controllers regulate heating or cooling of devices via two rear mounted receptacles (20A heavy duty relay). Hysteresis (deadband) capability permits optimization of system’s temperature accuracy, from 0.5° to 20° (°F or °C depending on model) either side of set temperature.
Proportional controllers regulate heating devices in proportion to temperature deviation from set point. Adjust thyristor output for optimal cycling with minimal overshoot of set point.
All are pre-wired; plug either the heating or cooling device into the system and go. Both on/off and proportional controllers feature high accuracy, an LED display that alternates between select process or set temperature, and recorder output capability (0 to 1mA full scale, 10mV/DEG. signal). Controllers use precision platinum RTD temperature sensors for input and operate at ambient conditions of –200 to 650°C (–328 to 1202°F). Probes are protected by stainless steel sheath and braided cable. Select length, diameter, and time constant required.
