Trace Eye-D instant explosives detection wipes are simple to use, and require no specialized equipment. They employ color change chemistry for fast on-scene screening; just open, wipe, and look. Each wipe features a large 6×3" 100% polyester towelette, refoldable to test multiple surfaces, and is housed in a durable 4×3" multi-layer pouch (foil, LDPE, polyester, EAA) weighing 2.54 g total. Trace Eye-D wipes are pretreated, and must be used within 30 minutes after opening. They should be used within one year of purchase for optimal results. Trace Eye-D wipes are unaffected by heat, cold, or altitude and are lightweight and portable, making them ideal for law enforcement, military, aviation security, corrections, K-9, and bomb squad personnel.
