Vial Rack Systems

The Savillex vial rack system is the safest and most effi cient way to clean PFA vials, closures and other types of labware by acid soaking.

• Comprises of a series of grid-like racks which stack on a center post
• Racks are molded from PFA, excellent resistance to all mineral acids
• Drip tray is included which can be used to stand the rack system on or to transfer it to a sink for rinsing

The vial rack system, holds vials and closures upright during cleaning, eliminating air pockets and also facilitates the loading and unloading of the vial cleaning system. In combination, the vial rack system and vial cleaning system provides a complete solution for the acid cleaning of Savillex PFA vials, closures and many other types of labware.

Three pre-confi gured vial rack systems are available, to accommodate the most popular sizes of Savillex vials: 7, 15 and 30 ml, along with appropriate closures. For vials or parts other than those listed above, a universal rack system is available. The universal rack system is designed to be used with any size vial or other items, therefore universal racks do not feature integrated spacers.

The rack system can also be used with most 4 L glass beakers. Since the rack system is too tall to allow the use of a watch glass, a purpose designed PFA beaker lid is available for when the system is used with a glass beaker.
