This benchtop version of the TubeWriter™ is designed for space concious labs that perform medium to high-throughput applications struggling with manual labeling or sticky labels. The TubeWriter™ prints directly on labware like tubes, vials, and plates. The prints are in human-readable and barcode formats using UV-curable ink cartridges that withstand extreme lab conditions (2 to 5 lines of human readable text, 1D and 2D barcodes, images). Unlike competitors, the TubeWriter™ can be configured to print directly on the caps and unique labware used in proprietary systems.
Standard racks are available for 1.5 ml and 2 ml microcentrifuge tubes (caps and sides), 0.5 to 2 ml cryogenic vials and screw cap tubes (sides or inserts), 15 ml concial tubes, 50 ml conical tubes, 2.0 ml (12×32 mm) HPLC vials, 0.5 ml microcentrifuge tubes (caps and sides), side of 0.5 to 1.4 ml cluster tubes, 5 ml (1275 mm) culture tubes, side of vacutainer tubes, 7 mm thick histology cassettes, or top of (25×75 mm) microscope slides.
All other labware types require a custom rack designed for shape and fit. A TubeWriter™ representative will assist in choosing the best racks for specific labeling applications.
The TubeWriter™ 300 standard rack is designed for directly printing on the side of labware. TubeWriter™ 300 custom racks are made to exact specifications to print directly on unique labware.
