À propos de cet article

The Supa Mega cassette clamp is used for the microtomy of large tissue blocks.

  • Quick and easy to fit to the Leica and Epredia microtomes
  • Incorporated spirit level ensures correct alignment when attached to the microtome
  • Secure clamping of the cassette
  • Easy to use quick release function
  • Innovative design avoids collision between the clamp and knife block
  • Highly durable

Incorporating an intuitive quick-release system, the clamp can securely hold any tissue processing cassette from the Supa Mega range (Supa Mega Slim Cassette with spacer). Unlike other large tissue block clamps, the Supa Mega clamp’s unique design allows sectioning all the way through the Supa Mega block without collision between the clamp and knife block, which opens up the possibility of using Supa Mega Slim and Supa Mega Mothership base molds. The design also prevents the possibility of the cassette being attached in the wrong orientation. Easily fits Leica Biosystems' HistoCore, RM2100 and RM2200, and Epredia's Microm HH series of microtomes.
