The Liquid Trap prevents liquid from entering the pump

It is placed between the RapidVap and diaphragm pump to prevent liquids from entering the pump when using high boiling point solvents. Consists of borosilicate glass container with 2550 milliliter trapping capacity, two 1/2" diameter stems with elbows, foam insulation lid, and epoxy-coated steel bracket with hooks that allow the trap to hang on the side of the RapidVap Vacuum System. Alternatively, the bracket serves as a stand to stabilize the glass container resting on a flat work surface. This trap may also be used with pre-2005 CentriVap Cold Traps.
